Why DPM Exposure Assessment is Required?

A person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) has a duty to manage the risks to health and safety when employees are potentially exposed to DPM. PCBU must ensure that employees exposure to DPM is within acceptable levels as far as reasonably practicable.

Air monitoring should be conducted if there is a risk to a worker’s health. Ongoing health monitoring may be required.
